I thought I would do another quick review on some new hair oil I got for Christmas, as it is actually amazing!
For the past couple years I've been using Moroccan Oil and it really is great at making my usually dry hair super smooth as well as helping it to dry twice as quickly as it normally would. But for a price tag of around £21 for a 100ml bottle I was finding it to be a bit too much for my student budget! It was also starting to weigh my hair down and was finding I needed to wash it a lot more often.
This new Luxe oil from Wella has been created with a lightweight formula, including three nurturing oils: argan oil to enhance elasticity, jojoba oil to lock in moisture and almond oil to add lustre, and for around £15 for a 100ml bottle it's much more affordable.
The oil smells amazing and although I find I have to use a little more than the Moroccan oil (around 4 pumps), it's so much more lightweight and makes my hair look a lot smoother than it previously has.
I can also use it on my hair when it's dry to smooth it down again if I get caught in the rain and it sinks into the hair perfectly without leaving any greasy look or feel.
Definitely recommend!

Dermalogica
I don't know if it's because I'm now living in a slightly polluted London or the fact that I now have to get up at 7am everyday but I noticed that my skin was starting to look a bit dull and tired over the last couple of months, so I began looking into the best moisturisers/creams that weren't ridiculously priced. I'd heard a lot about Dermalogica and how it completely revives your skin but at around £23 I was putting off buying it as I didn't want to run the risk of it being awful when I normally pay £10 maximum for face creams.
But then I came across this website - advertised down the side of my Facebook page. It's called whatsinmyhandbag and for £9.50 they were selling a complete Dermalogica set in small tester sizes - perfect for me to try before taking the plunge and getting the big bottles!
The skin smoothing cream is amazing, I've already found I only need to wear half my normal amount of foundation because my skin looks a lot more fresh and it feels great too. The set also comes with a multivitamin eye firming cream and two exfoliants to use in the shower which also work really well but I think the moisturiser has given the best results.

Ponytail Magazine Shoot - Styling Work Experience
Came across these a while ago from some work experience I did with Stylist Emma Macfarlane, it was so much fun and great to be a part of selecting the clothes and casting the models.
I love the end result too!
Happy New Year
I haven't blogged for almost a year and thought as it's the start of a new year it was about time I got back into it. Since I finished Uni I've found I've had much more time to get back into reading blogs, discovering more about the industry and generally enjoying fashion a lot more, rather than it feeling like a chore when I was doing projects, dissertation, FMP etc.
So this blog will mainly about reviews/photos of beauty and fashion that I've bought recently as those are the types of blogs I most enjoy reading - and it's great to find out which products are the best without having to spend a fortune testing them all out.
All comments/blogging advice will be much appreciated :)
